All IPL 2024 Teams and Players List: How All 10 Teams Squad Looks Like?

After the Indian Premier League player auction, these are how each of the ten IPL 2024 teams and players list appears. A significant moment occurred at the Indian Premier League 2024 auction in Dubai on Tuesday as Mitchell Starc secured a record-breaking deal. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) successfully acquired the services of the Australian pacer for a staggering bid of INR 24.75 crores.

Surprisingly, the IPL 2024 Full Squads auction witnessed the unprecedented occurrence of two players surpassing the 20 crore-mark in the cash-rich T20 cricket league. Prior to Starc’s record-breaking deal, Pat Cummins, his Australian teammate, was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a staggering 20.50 crore.

Previously, Sam Curran held the title of being the highest-priced player in the IPL. Punjab Kings (PBKS) invested INR 18.50 crore to acquire the services of this Englishman during the previous year’s auction.

A total of 332 players hailing from 13 different countries were up for grabs at the highly anticipated IPL 2024 Full Squads Auction. Out of these, 216 individuals were from India. Following player retention, releases, and trades, the 10 teams at the IPL 2024 Full Squads auction had a total of 77 slots to fill, including 30 overseas player quotas.

Nevertheless, a total of 72 players were acquired through the bidding process, with KKR (23) and RR (22) being the only teams that did not utilise their full quota of 25 players. However, all 30 spots for international players were filled.

In addition to Starc and Cummins setting a new benchmark in IPL contracts, several other players also secured lucrative deals at the IPL 2024 Full Squads auction. Daryl Mitchell joined CSK for INR 14.00 cr, Harshal Patel went to PBKS for INR 11.75 cr, Alzarri Joseph signed with RCB for INR 11.50 cr, and Spencer Johnson earned a contract worth INR 10 cr with GT. Uncapped Indian batter Sameer Rizwi was sold to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for ₹8.4 crore.
